We offer coaching services to help businesses grow across Africa using GROW model and our extensive knowledge of the people and culture of the continent by partnering with business executives to achieve their personal and professional goals.
The pace of change in the world resulting from the fourth industrial revolution of information technology and COVID-19 crisis has brought with it daily challenges which individuals and organisations face. These challenges include changes in life and work place which have resulted in increasing pressure on employees to manage their personal lives and deliver on organisational strategy being impacted by geopolitics, globalisation and changing technologies.
At Realising Dreams Coaching we bring about the desired change in individuals’ personal and professional lives, and organisational change and development through integral approach to personal development, leadership development, strategy change and organisational development on the basis that to achieve success, all parts and the interrelationship must be examined. Every part must be seen as unique and yet has connection and is influenced by the other part. These parts include the individual emotions and thoughts, body and behaviour, culture and relationship, and systems and environment. Therefore, growth and development are achieved on the basis that every coaching client has solutions to their problems and have the capacity to learn and develop in a system that is interrelated and is influenced by the various parts.
Our coaching is delivered by deploring relevant coaching skills and techniques by the coach acting as a sounding board to partner with clients in achieving their goals through self-awareness and the clients taking responsibility for the execution of their action plans. The coaching approach is combined with our knowledge and understanding of African people and culture to assist people and businesses on the continent to grow. This transformation we believe will bring about African prosperity.
We use GROW model which was popularised by Whitmore (2017) in his book; Coaching for performance. The GROW model acronym stands for Goal, Reality, Options and Will. It is goal focused and used widely in the corporate environment to assist executives and talent to achieve their personal and professional goals to enable them to contribute to business growth. It starts by looking at the coaching session goal, exploring the current reality of the coachee, available options, choosing the best options, agreeing on the support available and the client’s will to follow through the agreed actions.
Our coaching is directed towards upcoming talents and executives who are struggling with career choices and difficulty in navigating corporate culture and politics which result in their frustration with the system and career stagnation.

Testimonials
Abas had the ability to probe, understand my situation, constructively criticise, challenge my views and allowed me to reach my own conclusion and solutions. This he did with patience, careful articulation and a view to help me be a better leader and professional. Thanks for the guidance thus far Abas and I look forward to more engagements in future. – A Banker
Through coaching, Abas my thinking partner and sounding board provided a safe space to find the answers I needed – which always resided with me but through coaching I experienced a new level of questioning which delved into my emotive side, my decision making processes and my default mechanisms.
I have learnt valuable skills and concepts that have now become life lessons. – HR Practitioner
Abas assisted me to organise my priorities by asking leading questions that prompted me to think and find solutions. This went on through the year and we ensured that we have at most three actions to work on after the coaching sessions. The coaching assisted me to concentrate on the vital few things that had the most impact on my priorities and to unlock that thinking and that potential. – Risk Practitioner
You have been very insightful. You have also made me to think about things I wouldn’t normally and ah, “I didn’t know the answer to all of this.” You are also very calm. So that also rubbed off on me a little bit. – Project Manager
